The Fearsome Foursome - The Pollocks and De Persias
Henry and I enjoyed a formal night out our first annual SeaBee Ball on March 14, 2009. This is a commorative event for a division of the Navy that Henry now belongs to. Remind me to tell you about the dress drama I encountered leading up to this night. Funny story including almost wearing a wedding dress. hahaha.
The event was held at the Ronald Regan Library Meuseum in Simi Valley, CA. It was located in one wing of the museum surrounding the previous Air Force One presidential airplane. Talk about a centerpiece! We even got to walk inside and tour the plane. The night was fun, but short. And the dance floor was located outside! It was cold but that was just another good reason to dance it up to stay warm. Unfortunately, Henry was a bit of a party pooper since he went to surf that day twice before the event. But I had a blast!
Grandma "Nana" Ivette played babysitter that night so it worked out perfectly. Everyone was happy :) Us for a little break away and my mom for having Giovanni all to herself.
All in all we had a nice night!
